Evermore

A simple, timeless designer table created in the 1950s by the acclaimed Danish furniture designer, Arne Hovmand-Olsen. Evermore is a classic beauty that transports the craftsmanship and aesthetics of Danish modernism into the contemporary dining room or sociable kitchen. The lines of the design are typical of the era and characteristic of Arne Hovmand-Olsen, who let the beautiful wood play the leading role. Evermore is manufactured in teak, walnut and oak of the highest quality and is available in two sizes. One of the Evermore’s features is space for the storage of leaves in the actual table, so there is the option of more room around the table for the greatest possible flexibility.

Choose from different classic surface treatments and colour expressions from Warm Nordic’s exclusive universe.

The timeless Evermore was originally designed in 1955 by the Danish furniture designer, Arne Hovmand-Olsen, who was well known for his innovative, Scandinavian style furniture design. Evermore is a perfect complement to the Noble Chair by the same designer, but also looks great with other designer chairs with classic lines.

One of the key features of Evermore is the uncompromising quality and a timeless design that testifies to the designer’s love of wood. Arne Hovmand-Olsen had a talent for both craftsmanship and aesthetics, and encapsulated both in his elegant designs. Evermore has been specially selected for the Warm Nordic range as a tribute to iconic Nordic design that invests modern décor with invaluable diversity and depth.

Designer

Arne Hovmand-Olsen had the world in mind, both before and after the 1950s, when he became one of Denmark’s renowned furniture designers. The son of a farmer and an aesthete by nature, he started as an apprentice cabinetmaker, before studying furniture design and pursuing his passion for visual composition and furniture design. In 1944, Arne Hovmand-Olsen opened his own design practice, where he united the details of classic craftsmanship with innovative, modern design. He was a pioneer, not only in the field of architecture, but also in the field of exporting designer furniture to accommodate the large interest abroad. In consultation with Arne Hovmand-Olsen’s family, Warm Nordic is upholding the legacy of this great furniture designer and will regularly launch more House of Arne Hovmand-Olsen classics.
