Alfredo Häberli has therefore focused exclusively on the color scheme – a simple gesture with great emotional significance – and in his monochrome interpretation the Gesture Chair has been enriched with a new depth and renewed relevance through the subtle effect of the colours. The lacquered special edition of the Gesture Chair is available in six curated colours, each with its own individual character, but at the same time coordinated so that chairs in different colors can be combined around a dining table. Upholstery on the seat or both seat and back adds another layer to the color scheme, as the textile is perceived as the same color from a distance, but contributes a different shade and structure in the meeting with the chair itself.
